KMI's mine site is located 8 miles West of Death Valley Junction just inside the California border in the Amargosa Mountain Range.
KMI has independently proven 53,700,000 tons (at depth and strike) of high purity clinoptilolite zeolite. According to recent expert analysis, KMI's Zeolite mine has been identified as one of the largest and purest clinoptilolite deposits found to date. KMI has an existing mill site in Sandy Valley, which is 38 miles south of Las Vegas off of Interstate 15 South.
KMI has also purchased property 15 miles from the mine site in order to cut down on increased shipping costs. The new mill site will be capable of producing a much higher volume of clinoptilolite and allow KMI to benefit from the economies of scale and increased efficiencies. Full production and storage capabilities are underway for this location and should be completed shortly.
